TERMS OF SERVICE

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing or using The Marriage Mates™ website, digital workbook, mobile application, framework email system, or any related products or services (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform.
2. NATURE OF THE PLATFORM
The Marriage Mates™ is a structured, self-guided evaluation framework designed to assist individuals in making informed relationship decisions.
The Platform provides:
Educational tools
Reflection prompts
Framework-based evaluation systems
The Platform is not:
A dating service
A matchmaking service
A counseling or therapy service
A legal service
The Marriage Mates LLC acts solely as a technology and content provider, not as a facilitator, intermediary, or participant in user relationships.
3. NO PROFESSIONAL ADVICE
All content, including AI-generated responses, workbook materials, and tools, is provided for educational and informational purposes only.
The Platform does not provide:
Mental health advice
Therapy or counseling
Legal advice
Financial advice
You agree not to rely on any content as a substitute for professional advice.
4. AI GUIDE DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION
The Platform may include an AI-powered guide.
You acknowledge and agree:
AI responses are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading
AI outputs are not reviewed prior to delivery
AI responses are reflection tools only
AI outputs are not advice of any kind
You agree:
Not to rely on AI-generated content as the sole basis for any decision
That all decisions you make are entirely your responsibility
The Marriage Mates™ disclaims all liability arising from AI-generated content.
5. USER RESPONSIBILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
You acknowledge that:
Relationship decisions carry personal, emotional, and financial risk
Any interaction with another individual is undertaken at your own risk
The Platform does not verify identity, background, intent, or accuracy of any user
You agree that The Marriage Mates™ is not responsible for:
The conduct of any user
The outcome of any relationship
Any communication between users
6. FRAMEWORK EMAIL SYSTEM
The Platform may provide you with a forwarding email address.
You acknowledge and agree:
The system is a passive email forwarding service only
The Marriage Mates™ does not create, initiate, edit, monitor, or store communications
The Marriage Mates™ does not verify sender or recipient identity
The Marriage Mates™ does not guarantee delivery, privacy, or security beyond forwarding
You are solely responsible for:
All content sent or received
Compliance with all applicable laws
Your interactions with any third party
You expressly release The Marriage Mates LLC from any liability arising from email communications.
7. USER-TO-USER COMMUNICATION RISK
The Platform may enable communication between individuals.
You agree:
You use the Platform at your own risk when interacting with others
You are solely responsible for verifying any information provided by others
You will not rely on representations made by any user without independent verification
8. ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to use the Platform to:
Harass, threaten, or harm others
Send explicit or unlawful content
Misrepresent your identity
Engage in fraud or solicitation
Contact individuals under 18
Violation of these Terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.
9. DIGITAL WORKBOOK AND DATA STORAGE
Your workbook data:
Is stored locally on your device
Is not stored on The Marriage Mates™ servers
Is not accessible by The Marriage Mates™
You are solely responsible for maintaining access to your data.
10. VOICE FEATURE
The Platform may include an optional voice feature that allows you to respond to reflection prompts by speaking rather than typing.
Voluntary Use
The voice feature is optional. You may type all responses at any time without restriction.
How Voice Is Processed
When you record a voice response, the audio is transmitted from your browser to infrastructure operated by The Marriage Mates LLC on the Cloudflare, Inc. network and transcribed using Cloudflare Workers AI. Audio is processed in real time and immediately discarded. Audio is not stored, retained, backed up, or archived by The Marriage Mates LLC at any point.
What Is Not Retained
The Marriage Mates LLC does not store voice recordings, create or collect voice prints, or create biometric identifiers of any kind. Audio is not used to train artificial intelligence models.
What Is Retained
Limited technical metadata — including timestamps, audio duration, error codes, response codes, approximate file size, and an opaque member identifier — is retained for thirty (30) days for debugging and abuse prevention, and is automatically deleted thereafter. This metadata does not contain the content of transcripts or AI Guide responses.
Transcripts
The text produced by transcription is presented to you for review. Only text you explicitly submit becomes workbook content.
Consent and Permissions
Use of the voice feature requires your browser permission to access your device microphone and acknowledgment of the Voice Privacy disclosure presented within the Digital Workbook prior to first use. You may revoke microphone access through your browser settings at any time without affecting Platform access.
Changes to Voice Processing
If The Marriage Mates LLC changes voice processing providers, changes what metadata is retained, or changes retention periods, these Terms will be updated and active members will be notified prior to such changes taking effect.
11. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND BILLING
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled.
Monthly subscriptions: cancel anytime, effective end of billing cycle
Annual subscriptions: prorated refund available within 30 days of renewal
Lifetime access: non-refundable after 30 days
Prices and features may be updated with notice.
12. REFUND POLICY
All digital product sales are final except as explicitly stated.
By purchasing, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All Platform content, including the following, is protected by intellectual property laws:
The Marriage Mates™ framework
Pretentional Dating™
Workbook structure and methodology
You may not:
Copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display content
Create derivative works
Reverse engineer or replicate the framework
Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.
14. PMM SNAPSHOT AND SHARED CONTENT
You are solely responsible for any content you share with others.
The Marriage Mates™:
Does not control how recipients use shared content
Is not responsible for misuse of shared information
15. MARRIAGE AGREEMENT TOOL DISCLAIMER
The Marriage Mates™ Agreement tool:
Is not a legal document
Is not enforceable
Does not create legal obligations
You agree:
Not to rely on generated documents as legal agreements
To seek independent legal counsel for binding agreements
16. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Marriage Mates LLC and its affiliates from any claims arising from:
Your use of the Platform
Your communications with others
Your violation of these Terms
17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Marriage Mates LLC shall not be liable for:
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Any relationship outcomes
Any user interactions
Any AI-generated content
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the prior three months.
18. TERMINATION
We may terminate or suspend access at any time for violation of these Terms.
No refunds will be issued upon termination for cause.
19. ARBITRATION AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER
All disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Newark, New Jersey under AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules.
You waive:
Your right to a jury trial
Your right to participate in a class action
20. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
21. MODIFICATIONS
We may update these Terms at any time.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
