HOW THE FRAMEWORK WORKS

The structure is the steps.

Each step is intentional.

The steps are unavoidable.

The questions are unavoidable.

The decisions are unavoidable.

That is the point.

Within each step you learn about yourself and your Potential Marriage Mate — identifying alignment where it exists and misalignment before it costs you more time.

At the end of each step a decision is made.

Continue — based on alignment.

Or discontinue — based on the absence of it.

The steps are guided by one standard: honesty.

About who you are.
About what you require.
About what you observe.

This is the structure.
This is intentional dating.
This is the Marriage Mates™ framework.

Phase One — Initiation

Steps 1–4

The opening conversation and the establishment of intent. You confirm that both of you are evaluating, not drifting.

Phase Two — Dating

Steps 5–11

Structured interactions that produce real observation. Dates, shared experiences, introductions to the people who know you best.

Phase Three — Evaluation

Steps 12–16

The substantive compatibility areas most couples never examine before commitment. Credit. Family. Preparation. Readiness.

Phase Four — Children

Step 17

A branched track that addresses three different family configurations directly.

Phase Five — Confirmation

Steps 18–20

Reflection, confirmation, and the signed Marriage Agreement.

The names of the twenty individual steps are reserved for readers of the Book, the Workbook, and the Digital Workbook. Those steps are the framework's depth. The five phases are the map. When alignment is consistently confirmed through each step — the result is commitment.
